Welcome to the Women of Inspiration website. These terms cover your use of this site, our event tickets, our merchandise and donations. By using the site you agree to them — and we’ve done our best to keep them in plain English.
Who we are
Women of Inspiration Inc (ABN 90 298 996 064) is an incorporated association and registered charity based in Brisbane, Queensland, raising funds for cancer research. When these terms say “we”, “us” or “WOI”, that’s who we mean. You can reach us any time at womenofinspo@gmail.com.
Using this website
You’re welcome to browse, share and print pages from this site for personal, non-commercial purposes. Please don’t misuse the site — that includes attempting to interfere with its operation, uploading harmful code, or using content in a way that misrepresents us or the people whose stories we share.
Our content
The words, images, logos and design of this site belong to Women of Inspiration or are used with permission — including photographs from our events and the personal stories entrusted to us. Please ask before reproducing any of it commercially. We’ll almost always say yes to anything that helps the cause.
Events and tickets
Tickets to our events are sold through third-party ticketing platforms (such as TryBooking). Your purchase is also subject to that platform’s terms and the specific conditions published for each event, including its refund policy. If an event is cancelled or rescheduled, we’ll contact ticket holders directly with options. Event details — venues, times, inclusions — can occasionally change, and we’ll always let you know if they do.
Merchandise
Prices in our shop are in Australian dollars (we’re not registered for GST, so there’s no GST component). You can pay securely online by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, or choose Pay on pickup and pay when you collect. We post Australia-wide for a flat $10 — usually dispatched within 5 business days, volunteers permitting — or collect your order free by arrangement or at our next event. Shop purchases support our work but aren’t tax-deductible donations.
All sales are final — we don’t offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, so please check sizing before you order. If anything arrives faulty, damaged or not as ordered, we’ll replace or refund it and cover the postage — your rights under the Australian Consumer Law always apply. Donations
Donations are voluntary and go toward our charitable purpose of funding cancer research. If you make a donation in error — a typo’d amount, a double-up — contact us within 14 days and we’ll happily fix it.
Links to other websites
Our site links out to others — ticketing pages, our research partners, our sponsors. We don’t control those sites, so we can’t take responsibility for their content or how they handle your information.
The legal bits
We work hard to keep this site accurate and available, but we provide it “as is” and can’t promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for loss arising from your use of the site — but nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that can’t be excluded.
Changes and contact
