Words of Inspiration

from our friends and supporters

“Women of Inspiration is a remarkable organisation that empowers women while making a genuine difference to the lives of those affected by cancer. Through its generosity and commitment to giving back, it has become an important supporter of vital gynaecological cancer research, and a wonderful example of how a passionate community can drive meaningful change and create hope for women and their families.”

Lisa Harrold
Partnerships & Engagement Manager — Queensland Centre for Gynaecological Cancer (QCGC) Research

“As a cancer survivor, I know firsthand how important it is to feel supported, connected and hopeful during some of life’s toughest moments. The passion behind Women of Inspiration is inspiring — bringing women together through great events while raising vital funds that go directly to cancer research. Knowing that every event not only creates connection and awareness, but also makes a genuine contribution towards better outcomes for those affected by cancer, makes this a cause very close to my heart.”

It is a privilege to support Women of Inspiration and their founder, Carmen Rigney. Their dedication to supporting cancer research, creating meaningful connections, and driving positive change in the community is truly inspiring. “Celebrating strength and empowering change” is at the heart of what they do — bringing people together, raising awareness, and creating opportunities to make a lasting difference.

I’ve loved being a part of Women of Inspo for years because it was born out of one amazing woman, Carmen Rigney, wanting to bring women together while supporting cancer research. The event is always so fun and I always walk away feeling so much better about life and humanity because of the amazing women I meet. So worth supporting and being a part of … thank you Carmen for being you. x

Women of Inspiration is a powerful example of what can happen when women come together, share their stories and turn connection into meaningful action. Having had the privilege of speaking at a Women of Inspiration event and sharing my own experience of a cancer diagnosis, their mission is particularly close to my heart. What Carmen has created is truly inspiring! A community raising vital funds and awareness for cancer research, while creating hope and showing the incredible difference we can make when we come together for a shared purpose.

As a cancer survivor, connected is how the Women of Inspiration movement makes me feel. The coming together of a community to celebrate the women who fight disease from the front line, the researchers who work tirelessly to push harder, further, better and the extraordinary support community of friends and family who hold us up, hold our hands and hold our place while we face the journey. Carmen and her team must delight in the joy that is always found within the Women of Inspiration gatherings. ❤️
